Filming in Morocco
Plan your shoot with Morocco Film Production. We provide line producing and executive production in Morocco for international film, television, documentary, commercial and music video projects, with local support shaped around your brief, locations and schedule.
Plan your shoot from brief to wrap
Start with your script or treatment, visual references, filming dates and target budget. We use these details to scope the local production requirements and build a practical plan for preparation, shoot days and wrap.
Choose filming locations in Morocco
Location choices shape the look of your project as well as travel time, access and production costs. Explore options in Marrakesh, Casablanca, Ouarzazate, the Atlas Mountains and desert landscapes with our location services team. Share references so we can assess suitable settings against your story and schedule.
Prepare permits, crew and equipment
Discuss filming permissions and location access early in preparation. Visit our film permits guide to start that conversation, then plan your local crew, casting and camera, lighting, grip and sound equipment around the technical brief.
Build a realistic production budget
A useful estimate starts with the number of preparation and shoot days, locations, crew size and equipment list. Allow for location access, transport, accommodation, catering and any specialist production needs. Share your budget range and priorities so we can scope a package and identify the decisions that most affect cost.
Set the production timeline
Work backwards from your intended filming dates. Agree the brief and location shortlist first, then coordinate permissions, availability and logistics before finalizing the shoot schedule. Preparation time depends on the project; confirm the schedule with our team rather than relying on a fixed turnaround.
For travelling crews, coordinate transportation, accommodation and catering with the call schedule. If equipment is arriving from abroad, discuss customs arrangements during preparation.
