Film Equipment Customs Clearance in Morocco
Bringing cameras, lenses, lighting, sound or grip equipment into Morocco for a shoot requires planning before the shipment or crew travels. Morocco Film Production helps international productions coordinate equipment lists, local logistics and the customs documentation needed for temporary entry and re-export.
Temporary entry for production equipment
Moroccan Customs provides temporary admission procedures for goods that will leave the country after their authorized use. An ATA Carnet may be one route for eligible professional equipment, but the applicable procedure depends on the items, how they travel and the current customs requirements. Confirm the route with the relevant customs authority and your issuing chamber or customs specialist before departure. See the Moroccan Customs Administration for official information.
Prepare the equipment details
Share a detailed inventory early, including descriptions, quantities, serial numbers where available, declared values, ownership and the planned entry and exit points. The production schedule, freight method and any specialized equipment can affect the paperwork and handling. We can help coordinate this information with local production and logistics partners.
Plan for arrival and re-export
We help align equipment movements with your shoot dates, transportation and local equipment options. At wrap, equipment admitted temporarily must be handled under the applicable re-export procedure. Customs authorities make the clearance decisions; timing, duties, guarantees and any additional authorizations depend on the goods and the procedure used.
Request production logistics support
Send your equipment list, country of departure, arrival date, port or airport, shipment method and planned exit date. We will review what local coordination your production may need.
