Who issues filming authorizations?
The Centre Cinématographique Marocain (CCM) is the public institution responsible for issuing film shooting authorizations within its remit. Its official guidance sets out processes for location scouting authorizations, filming authorizations and filming declarations.
Morocco Film Production is an independent production services company. We help prepare and coordinate applications and local production arrangements; we do not issue government permits or make approval decisions.
Start with the current CCM requirements
Consult the CCM’s official filming guidance to identify the procedure that applies to your project. The CCM describes submissions through its digital platform and lists supporting documents by production category.
A feature film, documentary, commercial or music video may require different information. Confirm the current requirements for your production rather than relying on a generic document list.
